In the Colonnade

John Fowles writes, "In them [the woods] we stand among older, larger and infinitely other beings, remoter from us than the most bizarre other non-human forms of life: blind, immobile, speechless..., waiting... altogether very like the only form a universal god could conceivably take."

Okay. I'm getting the book. Between the contemplative quotes and your paintings, I've started to dream of being lost in the colonnade. Sometimes it's a little scary, but it always feels right.

I am enjoying your explorations in the colonnade, Bob, and am moved by the quotes also. You have certainly discovered a magical, spiritual place.

Sam, It's not scary, just awesome.

Donna, Actually, I discovered this place a number of years ago, but for some reason, it has meant much more lately.
